who cares they were a bloody great band and songs like faker and revenge stood out a mile from many of the "mod" singles released at the time,the gents pissed over most of the 80's mod bands both live and on record,they was up there with makin' time,prisoners and the rage etc,they didn't have to be mod to be liked just play back the old vinyl and listen to the tunes.
Hi all! great site! sorry tho, the gents only made one record which could possibly be described as part of the 80,s mod movement and that was the faker! The groups sound is far too 80's! it sounds even more so when listening now. too synpho duran duran sounding culminating into the awfull release of "stay" I think the faker was an awesome record and wish the the band had kept with that sound! "in the morning when i wake up" brilliant!
Sorry but not a patch on the scene. Like i said, too 80's sounding. the symph sound they used sounds like something from haircut 100. the faker 10 the rest nil!
