here goes then

1;Cowbag "loved this song have a wobbly version from bubbling under on video and it is mega wobbly now,also have a great version on one of the demo tapes"
2:Revenge:"Awesome classic and the second single version pisses all over the version from b side of the gent pure mod/pop classic"
3:Over me "love this tune and would liked to have seen it pumped up produced and blasted out as a single."
4:The faker "any version , probably prefer the later version (backed with Shout) the song that put me onto the gents in the first place,indie pop blaster
5:At The dance "brilliant ,driving hammond and martin's voice on top form
6:Have a Good time "early demo lately re-surfaced on b.side,power driven power pop and proved just that the gents did have a bloody good time and were an excellent band
7:Smithers Jones (live) have to have been there to have heard this,brilliant
8:Out On The Floor (live)"modern day sould beat band swing this tune into the then 80's pity this never surfaced on any recordings either.
9:The Gent "the anthem enough said,"
10:Don't Turn Away "loads of melodrama an swirling guitars and keyboards,dreamy lyrics and vocals a tune that showed the real potential.

hi steve, now there a thought top ten of the gents, does that include the guys?? lol joke, have to think about that, ive got quite bit more than ten, will narrow it down and put post on later.

yes it was hard for me to pick a top ten they are all good really but I have them as faves but i can listen to all the stuff over and over again an excellent band who should have been huge.

ps I'll have a guess at your tops for the band members sometime lol

i know no-one seemed to like it as much as me n my bezzie nmate at the time but i loved stay with me!!remember smooching to it at one of the gigs i went to!!lol!!!and revenge was the best ever!!
